Richard "Ricky" Risk

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Richard Louis Risk on Tuesday, June 30, 2020. Born in Sydney on January 14, 1954, he was the son of the late Archie and Frances Risk.

Ricky is survived by his daughters Tennile and Libby (Ryan) and grandsons Jack and Brodie; brothers AJ, Art (Gayle), Eddie, Charles; sisters Elizabeth and Peggy (Glenn) Watts as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his life partner Mary MacNeil; siblings Joe, Winnie, Patsy, Frances, Millie and a niece Carrie.

Ricky had a great sense of humour and never failed to put a smile on your face with his charm and wit. He loved sharing his  life with family and friends, and enjoyed spending time on Ben Eoin or Christmas Island beach. He was proud of his Syrian culture and time spent at the Cedars Club where he was a member for many years.

We take joy in knowing that he is now at peace with Mary; the love of his life. A private graveside service will be held with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating. A time of celebration where friends and family can come together to share stories of Ricky will be announced when social gatherings are permitted.
