Obituary

John "Johnie" Francis Marche

Died peacefully at home in River Bourgeois, Cape Breton on June 7, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.Born July 20, 1935 in Cape St. George, Newfoundland, he was a son of the late Adolph and Olive (Lainey) Marche.

Johnie was well known throughout his community and always did many things for others.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Moretta (Kennedy); children Debbie, Halifax; Peter, Ottawa; Leona (Paul), Three Mile Plains; Furbaby Frosty; grandchildren Katherine (Rick), Vaughn; Aurora (Shayne); great grandchildren Sophie, Zennon and Lucus; sisters Linda, Isobel, Adele, Ellen as well as other close family members. He was predeceased by a son David as well as many siblings and in-laws.

Special thank you to the VON, Continuing & Palliative Care  - especially Edna, Patsy, Kevin and Chantal.

A private family interment will take place at a later date. Donations in John's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
