Janet "Lynn" Bennett

It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our wife, mother, sister and aunt, Lynn Bennett, at her happy place, Arm of Gold Campground. Born in Sydney, she was the daughther of the late Parker and Jean Townsend. She was employed and the Cape Breton Post for over 25 years, retiring in the fall of 2020 due to health issues.

She is survived by husband, Gary; daughter,Chelsea; furbabies, Zeus & Korras brothers, Allan (Julia),Peter and sister, Susan, in-laws Darrell (Mona), Vaughan,

David (Elaine), Darren, Denise, nieces and nephews. We would like to thank the EHS and the Cape Breton Regional Police for their professionalism and John Brennick, owner of the campground. Cremation has taken place and is entrusted to Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.

Burial service will be Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 11 a.m.
