It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that we the family of Eileen Michelle "Shelly" Jeremias age 63 announce her peaceful passing on April 20, 2021 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Sydney on Jan 25, 1958 she was the daughter of the late Frank and Kay (Costello) Hennick.
She enjoyed entertaining, cooking for a crowd and karaoke with her family and friends.

She most recently worked as a compassionate caregiver to the elderly and received caregiver of the Year award for this in 2019. She also worked at the lotto booth in Walmart Sydney River.
She was predeceased by a brother in infancy Frankie Thomas, her fur baby Sassy, and close friend Evelyn Guyea. She was also predeceased by brother in laws Dave Morrison, Jackie MacNeil and Carl (Pook) Martin.
