Dianne loved to teach, it was her passion and it gave her a meaning. Dianne was very much like her father in relation to helping people and serving the community. Dianne has impacted so many lives, and those lives have impacted her. She loved to make people smile and always had a good story. Her favourite subject was English. She believed knowledge is power, for there is always something to learn. Her biggest passion was working for the Adult Learning Association of Cape Breton Country, she was known for her Christmas dinners she would put on yearly for her students, and always had an open door policy for the students that have been in her class and moved on to graduate and get their grade 12. Dianne was a wonderful wife, mother, friend, and loved being a grandmother. She always had a smile on her face, when it came to talking about her kids and grand kids. She was very proud of her family.  To the world you are a Mother, but to your family you are the world. Unknown author
