It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Wayne G. (Hippy) McMullin. Born October 6, 1961 and passed on May 30th, 2026.

He spent most of his life in Gardiner Mines and the last 30 years in Dominion.

Wayne is survived by his only daughter Cynthia, who he cherished. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and most importantly, Poppy. His grandchildren were his true pride and joy. He will be missed most by Ashley, Logan, Connor, Kelsey and Alexis. Wayne is also survived by his only brother John B. (Beverly), Florence, Anne (Timmy) Wilkinson, Lynn MacInnis, Jennifer (Darren) Little, Carol (Mario) Colosimo and Margaret.

Wayne was a friend to all and had so many friends in return. With his quick wit, his passing will leave a void in the hearts of all who knew him.

Wayne was predeceased by parents, father Peter Gerard McMullin and mother Phyllis (Bennett) McMullin, sister Phyllis Marie MacMillan and brother-in-law Frank MacMillan.

As per Wayne’s wishes there will be no formal service, a private Celebration of Life for immediate family will be held.

Cremation has been entrusted to Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
