Sarah 'Sadie' Poirier

It’s with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the peaceful passing of Sadie Poirier on July 27, 2023. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Alexander J. MacMullin and Catherine G. MacMullin (McNeil).

Sadie was an avid bingo player, she enjoyed playing cards, watching wrestling, and crocheting. She loved the colour pink.

She will be greatly missed by sons; Sheldon (Margo) and Blair, grandchildren; Melissa (Mike), David (Amanda), and great-grandchildren; Ethan (Shelby), Ayden and Sheldon. She will also be missed by her lifelong friend, Beverly MacLean.

Sadie is predeceased by her parents, her husband Alec,  son Tommy, and her brothers, Roddie-Joe, Danny and Patti.

There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the guidance of Forest Haven. A private family service will occur at a later date.
