Roderick 'Roddy' Smith

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Roderick Smith on August 15, 2022. He was born to

William and Christina (MacNeil) Smith on January 24, 1940. He is predeceased by his parents Bill and

Nan and special niece Norma Marie Christie. He is survived by his loving sisters Catherine (Billy) , his

sister Tina and his brother John R. Smith. Roddy will be missed by his nieces and nephews and many

grandnieces and grand nephews.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff at Shannex

Nursing Home for the love and care they provided to Roddy. Interment will take place at Forest Haven

Memorial Gardens on August 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Condolences can be sent to Forest Haven Memorial

Gardens. There are special people in our lives that will never leave us even after they are gone, God has

called one of his Angel’s home.
