It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert (Paul) Hennick, who left us peacefully on November 10, 2025, at the age of 70.
Born on December 28, 1954, Paul was a man of many talents and even more heart. He had a gift for fixing anything he set his mind to and was happiest with a tool in hand, working on cars or tackling a new project. Paul loved the simple joys in life—heading out for a day of fishing, cooking up a good meal, listening to music, or spending time around the campfire on a camping trip. He also enjoyed watching wrestling and old westerns, and he never turned down the chance to share a laugh or a story.
More than anything, Paul loved his family. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he took great joy in every moment spent with them.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Jeanette (Forget), and his sons Robbie (Melissa), John (Tiffany), and Jamie (Jennifer). He will be dearly missed by his cherished grandchildren Cole, Lexie, Riley, Reese, Avery, and Khloe, who will forever carry his love in their hearts.
He is also survived by his twin brother Peter Hennick, his sisters Denise, Cindy, and Jean Mazalin, sister-in-law Donna Hennick, as well as many in-laws: Bill, Stanley Paul (Norma), Eugene (Connie), Ronnie, Mary Butts, Judy Pollard, Ellen, Linda (Ronnie), Brenda Mackenzie (George), and Donna. Paul also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who adored him.
Paul was predeceased by his parents John and Marie Hennick, his brother John (Tudd) Hennick, his brothers-in-law Donnie Marsh, Marty MacPhee, Francis Forget, Brian Forget, and Bobby Pollard, as well as his parents-in-law Eugene and Ellen Forget.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the ER, 4C, Dialysis, and the Palliative Care team for the exceptional care and kindness they showed Paul during his time with them.
Cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation at Paul’s request. An open house will be held at Jeanette’s home on Saturday, November 15, starting at 2:00 PM, where family and friends are welcome to gather and share memories of Paul.
Paul will be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, and his willingness to help anyone in need. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and hard work that will live on through his family and all who knew him.
