Regina Janeczko

With sad and heavy hearts, we share the news and passing of Regina Janeczko on November 10th 2025

Peacefully passed at the age of 88. Beloved mother of Jolanta Janeczko and Kasia Janeczko. Grandmother to Alec, Piotrek, Ania, Dominik, Michael. Great grandmother of Matthew, Cohen, Todd, and Tobiasz. Sister of Roman, Edward, Alina and late Jadwiga. She will be missed by family and friends in Canada, and Poland.

Regina enjoyed traveling and hiking, music and dancing. Even in her later years, Regina would walk kilometers and enjoyed her active life. Regina immigrated to Canada in 1992 and lived in Windsor Ontario for the majority of her time in Canada. In 2022, Regina and her daughter Jolanta moved to Nova Scotia where she enjoyed her walks by the ocean.

Regina had a tremendous positive impact on the people that knew her and had an enormous heart, helping those in need. She will be remembered for years to come as a person full of energy, positivity and dedication.
