Raphael Vernon Jamieson

It is with heartbreak and deep sadness that the family of Raphael Vernon Jamieson Jr. announce his passing on January 16, 2024. Ray was born December 11, 1960 to the late Raphael and Marie (Slade) Jamieson in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. 
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Jimmy and sister-in-law Michelle.  Surviving are his sister Colleen (John Hurley), Glace Bay, brothers; Stephen Jamieson (Carrie), Glace Bay, and John (Oksana) Jamieson, Alberta, Niece Katherine and nephews; Steven, Barry, Mitchell, JD, Genya and Roma, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Ray had many friends that will miss him dearly, along with good friend whom he resided Dave MacMullin. 

Ray enjoyed reminiscing about his time working for the Coast Guard. He enjoyed walking, especially when he had his fur baby Gizmo by his side. He loved to cheer on his favorite hockey team the New York Islanders.

Cremation has taken place under the guidance of Forest Haven Memorial Gardens. There will be no service at this time.
