Priscilla Leah Wareham

With broken hearts and deep sadness, we regret to announce the passing of Priscilla Leah (Bishop) Wareham at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, after a lengthy illness, on June 25, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Priscilla is survived by her husband and best friend, David, son Daniel, Westmount, sister, Linda (Rick) Tilling, Toronto, brother Joseph Babineau, Sydney., mother-in-law Joan Wareham (Bobby MacKinnon), sisters-in-law; Violet (Kenneth) Manning, Lillian Miller (Hugh Sheppard), Donna Wareham (Terry Lee),  and brother-in-law Shawn Wareham (Wallena Hickey), and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her parents Orlando and Minnie (Dean) Bishop and father-in-law Gilbert Wareham.

 Priscilla was always referred to by people as the 'sweet little one' from the Pier.  She loved her family dearly; they meant the world to her.  She had the biggest heart and will be remembered for her kindness and compassion for others.  She had many close friends that she cherished.  Priscilla loved animals; if there was a stray cat, she would want to take it home....and did. 

We would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for their care and kindness.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.   A Church Service will be held at St. Phillips Orthodox Church in Whitney Pier on Friday, June 30^th at 2pm.
