Peter John Boucher

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dad – Peter. He was born in England and moved to Cape Breton when he was nine years old.

Peter was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife Marilyn, his parents Joe & Dot Boucher and his brother Paul.

He is survived by his daughter Lisa (Halifax) and son David (Toni) (Michigan). Grandchildren Brett & Emma Boucher and Hannah & Mia Buchanan.

Peter worked for years in the financial business, starting with the Bank of Nova Scotia then Household Finance and finished his career with Community Services. In his younger years he was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed many trips traveling to various locations for his sport. But Dad’s most joy was spending time in Black Brook with Marilyn enjoying each other’s company and their gorgeous property.

Dad was a true Eagles fan and never missed a home game that he travelled with is friend – Bill Burke. Peter also had strong faith and rarely missed a mass.

Special thanks to Dr. O’Neill, Serna Parsons and the staff at the Regional Hospital for all your attention. He will be missed by his close friends, Ann Louise Walker, Valerie Barro, Bill Burke, Bucky MacLeod, Reggie Martell and Eliza & Paul Peach.

As per his wishes there will be no service or wake. Burial will be done privately with family and friends at a later date.
