Neil Joseph Morrison - Sydney

It is with great sadness that we the family of Neil Joseph Morrison announce his passing on July 19, 2020 in the Palliative Care Unit of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Neil worked at Canadian Tire for many years and enjoyed working with all his co-workers. Neil was a very kind and considerate person and had a great sense of humour. He certainly loved a joke or two. Neil’s passions were reading, wood working, and he was an avid dart player. He is survived by his wife Carolyn of thirty years as well as two loving brothers, Dave (Elizabeth) Morrison of Sydney and Lawrence (Bonnie) Morrison of Regina, Saskatchewan. Also surviving are aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers and many friends.

Neil is predeceased by his parents, the late Neil Joseph and Anne Irene (MacKinnon) Morrison.

A graveside service & interment will take place 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 10, 2020 at St. Mary’s Cemetery (very end of Maple Ave, Glace Bay).

Donations in Neil’s memory can be made to the Diabetes Association, Palliative Care of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, NS Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the charity of your choice.
