Michael Arthur Pitchuck

It’s with great sadness and heartbreak that we announce the sudden passing of Michael Arthur Pitchuck, 57 years old, on Nov. 24, 2023 in Sydney due to an undetected heart disease.  Michael was born April 15, 1966 in Sydney, son of Mary (Romard) Best and the late Michael Pitchuck.

Mike was a quiet type and kept to himself as he got older but he always loved to share his food, funny memes and cat stories with us all on Facebook. Definitely going to leave a void with many of us, not seeing his daily posts.

He was a creative handyman and professional painter. Mike took pride in his work and was so proud every time a job was completed.  Again, we would all get to see pictures he would post of his accomplishments, and that made us all proud. Mike will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Michael is survived by his mother Mary, best friend and twin brother Patrick, Sydney, his sister Wendy, Alberta, his fur baby Max. Predeceased by his father Michael, his sister Louise Pitchuck, maternal grandparents Murdock and Florence (MacKenzie) Romard and his paternal grandparents William and Stella (Mischiek) Pitchuck.

A graveside service will be held on December 4, 2023, at 11 am.  Michael will be laid to rest with his father. Father & Son together again. Please feel free to come and join us at Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
