Martha Catherine MacLean

Martha (MacNeil) MacLean, 98, of Grand Mira North, passed away on December 13 th , 2022.
Martha was born on September 13 th , 1924, to the late Joseph and Charlotte (Connelly) MacNeil of Glace Bay.
Martha was the wife of Patrick MacLean and mother to 7 children, Sharon (Myles) Attwood, Brian (Judy)
MacLean, Kevin (Peggy) MacLean, Gary (Dee) MacLean, Darrel MacLean, Alanna (Sam) MacLean, and
Gail (Kevin) Morrison.
Martha dedicated her life to being a fantastic mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a
strong woman and always supported her family in times of need.
Martha particularly enjoyed “going to town” shopping with her daughters Alanna and Gail. She loved to
spoil her great grandchildren, especially Evan Morrison, whom she had a very special relationship with.
Martha was predeceased by her husband Patrick MacLean, sisters Sara, Nora, Christine, Elizabeth, and
Caroline, brothers Neil, William, Dan, and Joe, son in law Myles Attwood, and grandson Kyle MacLean.
At Martha’s request there will be no service, Cremation has been entrusted to Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
