Laura Lee Giusti

With broken hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Laura Lee Giusti, 53, of Sydney, on May 12th, 2025 surrounded by her family.

Laura is survived by her life partner and best friend of over 30 years, Dave Hawco; her children David Hawco, Brad & George Giusti, and Destiny Green; her stepdaughter Chantel Hawco and stepson Parker (Angie) Hawco. She will be forever cherished by her grandchildren: Dustin, Cohen, Soren, Lexie, Logan, Marley, and Emmy-Lee. Laura also leaves behind her sister Paula (Jimmy), brothers William “Johnny” (Evie), Ricky (Nitaya), George and her beloved pitbull Babes, who was always by her side.

She was predeceased by her parents, Gerald and Elizabeth Giusti, and her sister Patricia Giusti.

To know Laura was to love her. She was a woman of immense compassion, whose generosity and warmth radiated to everyone she met. Whether helping a neighbor, a friend, or a stranger, she gave freely and without hesitation. Her spirit was rooted in kindness, and her presence brought comfort and joy.

Laura’s happiest moments were spent surrounded by family, especially her grandchildren. She found peace and joy camping at her trailer in Catalone, fishing, tending to her garden filled with plants and flowers, and taking long drives through the countryside to Mira.

At Laura’s request, there will be no service.

She will be missed beyond words, but her love and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
