It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Kenny “Float” King. Kenny died peacefully surrounded by those he loved following a lengthy illness.
Born in Sydney, he was the oldest son of the late George and Adeline (Pino) King. He is survived by his loving wife Seliena, his sons Chris and Kenneth, who was his caregiver throughout his illness, his grandchildren Oliver, Julianna and Jackson, siblings Junior, Skippy, Sonny and Debbie, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Helen “Sissy” Mullins.
Kenny’s love of music started at a very young age and continued until the end. He performed in many bands and played at events. Besides music, Kenney loved darts, bowling and a good drink of vodka and Pepsi. Most summer you would find him out camping with his family.
Family and close friends were very important to Kenny and he will be missed by all.
A special thank you to the staff of CBRH 4D and Palliative Units.
There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place under the direction of Forest Haven Memorial Gardens. A graveside service will take place at a later date.
Donations in memory of Kenny may be made to a charity of choice.
