It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lynn (Peckham) Robinson who left us peacefully on August 16th, surrounded by her loving family.

Lynn was born in New Waterford and the daughter of Mary (Roach) and Hayward Peckham. Lynn lived and worked in Price Edward Island eventually ending up in Sackville, Nova Scotia, where she worked at Staples for many years.

Lynn came from a large family of very close-knit sisters and brothers. Growing up, there was always something to do or somewhere to go. She was an outdoorsy girl and not afraid of hard work. She enjoyed making things with her hands or digging around her garden. Her family was the highlight of Lynn’s life. Spending time at her trailer at the lake was her “happy place”, the place where family and friends were always welcomed to play games, cards or just to chat. Her passion for fishing with her son, grandchildren and family brought her immense joy and special memories over the years, whether it was teaching them how to put a worm on a hook or to catch the biggest fish.

To know Lynn was to love Lynn. Her laughter, kindness and love was the emotional anchor of a life well lived. As only Lynn would say “mama made me the prettiest” while smoothing down her hair. Heaven just got a little more rowdy and a lot more fun. You are forever in our hearts Lynn.

Lynn was predeceased by her husband Peter Robinson, her brother Mike and brother-in-law John Poisson.

She is survived by her son Clayton (Tara), grandchildren Cameron, Kaylee, Kaiden and Colton of Rawdon, Nova Scotia. She is also survived by her loyal companion Gord Peters, sisters Lillian, Elaine (Frank), Patricia (Kevin), Sharon (Gerard), Susan (Robert) and Sheila. Brothers Gus (Jo-Ann), Ed (Kelly), Emil (Michelle), Ken (Michelle), Brian (Sherry) and Dan. As well as several nieces, nephews and special friends.

A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and caregivers at the CBRH emergency unit. Extended thank you to the palliative care unit for offering your support when needed.

In keeping with Lynn’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of Forest Haven Memorial Gardens. There will be no public visitation or memorial service. A private service will be held at a later date.
