It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judith Marilyn (Laffin) Penny on June 16th, 2026. Born on June 14, 1952 to the late Dan Joe and Doris (Simon) Laffin.

Over the years she worked at numerous jobs. She is survived by her loving husband Jimmy who was always there for her especially in her last days.

She is also survived by daughter Nicole and her children, Asia, Autumn and Cypress, her son Robert and his daughter Anna Maria. She also leaves behind her sisters Ann Laffin and Brenda (Tommy) Boutilier and special cousin Debbie Jobes. Judy is also survived by in-laws Stephanie Laffin, Rita Laffin, Tommy Penny, Bertha Smith and Bill LeBlanc, uncle Cecil Simon and step-son Kevin.

She was predeceased by sisters Gwen Devoe and Bernadette Bonnar as well as brothers Kevin, Josie, Michael and DD.

Special thanks to the Cancer Center nurses and doctors for their special care. Also thank you to the VON, Palliative Care and the home care workers who helped her so much.

Cremation has taken place and a family graveside service will take place at a later date and will be officiated by Deacon Roy Smith.
