Joseph "Joey" MacMullin

It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our brother & uncle, Joseph Bernard MacMullin, 67 of Port Hawkesbury and formerly from Sydney. He passed away Sept 25, 2020 at home. He was the son of the late Joseph B and Catherine (MacLellan) MacMullin from Sydney. He is survived by his sister Betty (late Paul) Burke; brothers Donnie, Cole Harbour and Wayne, Sydney as well as 5 nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Steve and sister Barbara (Jed) Corbett.
He worked as a millwright & spent his life travelling across the country with his work.
Joey will be forever missed & always loved by all who knew him.. He always had a warm smile that would light up a room. He was an avid sports fan & was a great hockey player with a zest for life & a passion for cars,music & family. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Forest Haven and a family graveside service will take place at 2:00 pm, Friday October 23, 2020 in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks, where he will be laid to rest with his parents.
