It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Darrell McDonald, 66, son of Josephine (Aucoin) and Melvin McDonald on Sept 23, 2026. Darrell was a beloved husband, brother, uncle and friend.

Darrell is survived by his loving and devoted wife Diane (O’Connell), his pride and joy and best friend son Jamie (Kelsey) and cat Boo. His sisters Margaret (Mugsy) Sampson, Marlene (Dennis Chipman) brother Francis and Michael (Mary), sisters-in-law Linda (Charlie), Gail (Wally), Joan and Ann, brothers-in-law; Michael (Soonah), Dave (Linda), uncle Gerald Aucoin and godchildren Marisa Sampson and Colleen Konowalyk. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many close friends.

Darrell was predeceased by his parents, brother Wayne, in-laws Freeman, Razz and Albert. Darrell was an avid racing fan, loved hanging out in his garage with family & friends. He was always there for anyone who needed a helping hand especially Lee & John.

Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering in Darrell’s memory will be held at a later date.
