John Lund

October 1, 1942 — August 20, 2021

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, John Edward Lund at Harborstone Enhanced Care August 20,2021.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the Late Edward & Florence (MacDonald) Lund.
John is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Margie (Lynk) Lund. Two sons Brian (Shelley) and James. His two precious grandsons, Justin (Kori) and Brandon (Taylor). Also surviving are his brother Edward (Kaye) Lund and three sisters, Eileen MacDonald, Louise Cann, and Christina Thompson. Brother-in-laws Jimmy Lynk, and Jimmy Gillis; Sister-in-laws Mora, Effie MacCormick, Marie (Denny) Dares,Freda Young and Gwen Lynk. As well as several nieces and nephews.


Besides his mother and father, he was predeceased by his father and mother-in-law, Jim & Mary Lynk. Brothers Elmer, Gordon and David. Sisters, Evelyn Petrie and Betty Gillis. Sister-in-laws Frances Lund and Sandra Lynk. Brother-in-laws John Thompson, Wayne Cann, Raymond Petrie, Allister MacDonald, Doug Young, Joe MacCormick and Fred Lynk.


Cremation has take place. A family graveside service will be held Friday, August 27, 2021 at 1:00pm, Riverview Cemetery, Marion Bridge with Rev. Angela MacLean officiating.
Covid Protocol will be in place.
