East Bay

Murray Rudderham, 70, passed away at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital on January 3, 2024. Murray was the oldest son of the late William and Goldie (Rudderham) Musgrave, Dutch Brook.

In his younger years Murray drove truck and ran a body shop in Inverness, where he was known as Spiderman, alongside his younger brother Clarence. He loved spending time with his buddies going fishing, camping, spending time at his cabin, going on bike runs and working on vehicles.   Murray was always the life of the party, and as anyone who knows him would agree, was quite the entertainer.  He was a caring and generous person who was always there for his friends and family.

Aside from his parents, he is predeceased by the love of his life, Sharon, youngest brother Clarence, niece Miranda, sister-in-law Jane, cousin Betty, whom he thought of as a sister and his best friend, dog Benji, who we are sure was waiting for him at the end of the rainbow bridge.

Murray is survived by family and friends, too numerous to mention. At his request, Cremation has taken place under the guidance of Forest Haven Memorial Gardens, there will be no service, with a Celebration of Life at a later date.
