Ernest Matthew Jewells

With great sadness, we the family of Ernie (Mucko) Jewells announce his passing on August 31, 2025 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital surrounded by the love of his family. Ernie was born October 3rd, 1970 to the late Ernest and Ruby Jewells.

Ern loved to joke, spend his time with his family and he absolutely loved going to The Country.

Survived by his wife Lisa, his son Ernie (Jenn) and his precious grand daughter that he loved more than anything, Sadie, as well as his buddy Karsyn. Also survived by his sister Tracey and Tricia (George), his mother-in-law Girlie Reid, his brothers-in-law Francis (Cecilia), and Tommy (Kim) and many nieces and nephews. Ern is predeceased by his mother and father Ernie and Ruby Jewells and his Father-in-law Thomas Reid.

Cremation has taken place and as per Erns wishes, there will be no visitation. A special thank to all the nurses and doctors in Palliative Care and the Cape Breton Cancer Centre. Donations in Ern’s memory may be made to the Cape Breton Cancer Centre.
