Eric "Bumby" MacDonald

We regret to announce the sudden passing of Eric James MacDonald (Bumby). He passed away peacefully at home on October 28, 20. Eric was a kind and loving man with a very outgoing personality. He loved to be around family and friends and enjoyed a good laugh with his great friends at the Glace Bay town garage. He was employed with the Cape Breton Regional Municipality in Glace Bay for 45 plus years.

Eric was born in Glace Bay March 14, 1952 to the late Eric and Geneva (Cole) MacDonald. He was a loving father to his pride and joy, son Allan (Erin) and his grandchildren Brittany (Dylan), Mackenzie, Blayke, Emma and great-grandson Luca. He is survived by his sister Judy (Howard) Burchell, his brother Darryl, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He will be sadly missed by his loving cousin Chris Comer and all of his dear friends.

As per his wishes there will be no visitation and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations to the SPCA or charity of your choice can be made.
