Edith Dicks

We are saddened to announce the passing of Edith Dicks on April 15, 2023 at Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Daughter of the late William and Edith Rose Marks.

Edith is survived by her son David (Heather) MacKenzie, daughters; Helen (George) David, Elaine (Donnie) Camus and Joan Scott. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents, 2 infant sons, 2 husbands, 11 brothers and 6 sisters.

A big thank you to all the doctors, nurses and staff of 3B at CBRH for all the kindness and care given to our mother during her stay in hospital. You all work so hard and are very much appreciated.

Cremation has taken place under the guidance of Forest Haven Memorial Gardens & Crematory. A family interment will take place at a later date.
