Charles Gerard McIntyre

It is with broken hearts we announce Charlie McIntyre, age 76 of Glace Bay, passed away at New Waterford Heights on February 13, 2024. He was the son of Charles and Mildred (Young) McIntyre. 

Charlie is survived by the love of his life, his wife Barbara, daughter Mildred (Johnathan) Williams, grandchildren Brooklynn and Riley Williams and sister Dawn (Evans) Brown. 

He was predeceased by his parents, and sisters Marilyn and Deanna. 

Charlie spent his career working for Sydney Steel, and when he retired he enjoyed spending his time with his beloved grandchildren.  There was nothing he would deny them, they were his pride and joy.  He had a love for classic cars, and had several over the years.  Charlies favorite place to be was in nature, teaching the kids how to fish and hunt, and walking in the woods.
