Carol Ann McGean

The family of Carol Ann McGean announce with much sadness, her sudden passing on January 17th, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Ellen Beddow.

Carol Ann loved people, always enjoyed a chat, her many family visits, the summertime outdoor concerts, parties and a favourite pass time was picking blueberries in the amazing stillness of the blueberry fields each summer, always leaving with every container full. Her greatest joy were her sons Jeremy (at home), Jason and Alyssa (Alberta) and the light of her life her beautiful granddaughter Ivy Ann.

Carol Ann is survived by her two sons Jeremy and Jason (Alyssa), her grand-daughter Ivy, her sisters; Brenda (David), Lynda (David), Theresa (Alfred) and Joy (Kevin), her brothers; Wayne (Mary), Brian (Colleen), Melvin (Bernice), Jeff (Leanne) and Craig (Holly). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Carol Ann was predeceased by her parents Walter & Mary Ellen Beddow.

A Celebration of Life held in Carol Ann’s memory will be held at a later date.
