Blair Alexander Poirier

It's with heavy hearts we regret to announce the passing of Blair Alexander Poirier on October 26th, 2025, at the age of 64, surrounded by family.

Blair grew up and spent his life in Gardiner Mines. He was raised by his mother the late Sadie (Sarah) Poirier, and his father, the late Alex Poirier.

Blair is survived by his brother, Sheldon Poirier (Margo), his nephew David (Amanda), and niece (Melissa). Also, his grand nephews; Ethan (Shelby), Ayden (Alyssa) and Sheldon. He was also predeceased by a brother in infancy. (Tommy).

Thank you for the Drs. & nurses of 4A at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for the exceptional care given to Blair Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation as per Blair's wishes Donations in Blair's memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
