Barbara Ann Hiscock

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Hiscock, age 67, on April 11th, 2023, at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax.

Barbara was born on September 26, 1955, in Glace Bay to the late Bill and Rita McIntyre.

She spent many years working at Highland Fisheries and enjoyed many hobbies and projects over the years.  She enjoyed visits from friends, spoiling her granddaughter Kelsey who she cherished.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 50 yrs, Raymond “Ray” Hiscock, her loving daughter Tammy; her pride and joy; granddaughter Kelsey; She had a close connection with Kelsey's dad Lowell Penny she thought of him as her son in-law, brothers; Billy (Kelly), Kenny, and Darryl (Leslie); sisters: Donna MacDonald and Sheary (Donnie) Littler; and in-laws; Henry Hiscock; Caroline McNeil;  Eileen Russell; Mary Bain, as well as several special nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

Besides her parents, Barbara is pre-deceased by her sister Nancy Lee Rogers.  In-laws Cecil and Mary Hiscock and sister-in-law Margie Hiscock. 

At Barbara’s request there will be no service. Cremation has taken place under the guidance of Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
