Aubrey Clarence (Acey/Ace) Lynk was the youngest child born to Andrew J. And Mamie Lynk on August 24, 1939. He passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Seaview Manor, Glace Bay, on Tuesday Oct 21, 2025.
Aubrey is survived by his wife Dawn Glory Lynk (McLaine) and his children : Debbie (Robbie), Michelle, Darlene, Angela and Andrew (Candace). He leaves behind his grandchildren Tammy (Stephen), Brandon (Becky), Jordan (Amy), Ashley, Hunter, Alyssa, Brody, Macey and Tyler. Also, leaving behind great grandchildren with a special relationship with great grandchild Tyson Boland.
Besides his parents, Aubrey was predeceased by his siblings Greta (Horace) Feldman, Arthur (Chris) Lynk, Marion (Bob) Weldon, Elvira Batten and his brother Aubrey Cecil in 1938.He is survived by his brother Robert/Bob (Helen) Lynk and his brother in law Naish Batten. Also, a number of nieces and nephews.
Aubrey retired from Nova Scotia Power with over 25 years of service. Over the years he had many hobbies but was a proud member of the Glacé Bay Police Scuba Diving Squad.Aubrey loved to socialize, tell stories and jokes. He loved his family very much and took pride in his grandchildren’s accomplishments in school and sports.
We, the family, would like to thank the staffs of 4th floor , Glace Bay General Hospital and Seaview Manor for their compassionate care.Per Aubrey’s wishes there will be no wake or funeral. Cremation has taken place and a graveside family gathering was held at Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
