We the family announce the sudden passing of Alice “Blossom” Clarissa Gerrow at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital in Sydney on June 13th. Born January 9th, 1951, she was the daughter of the late James “Brother” & Alice (Anderson) Brown.

Alice was a loving mother to her children whom she adored. She had an outgoing but firm personality when needed. She loved Cranberry Beach, dancing, picking blueberries and especially loved her fur-baby Oscar.

Alice is survived by her children; Veronica (Kevin), David and Paul (Shelly), her grandchildren; Allyson, William, T.J. (Kianna), Brandon, Amber and Samantha, her great-grandchildren Madelyn, Addison, Aiden, Mason, Charlie and Jordan. Also left to mourn are Alice’s siblings Veronica, Cathy and James. Alice will be fondly remembered by her best friend Lorraine Gouthro as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband William, her parents James “Brother” and Alice, siblings; Onnie, Christie, Betty, Jimmy and John David as well as great-grandchild Rylan.

Cremation has taken place. In keepings with Alice’s wishes, no service is planned at this time.
