Brian (Alfred) Mouland

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Alfred (Brian) Mouland, 61, Sydney Mines, formerly Sydney, Jan. 25, 2025 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.

Brian was the youngest son of the late Rudy and Lorraine (Druggett) Mouland, Prime Brook, Sydney.

He was a quiet man and preferred to live a quiet simple life, he enjoyed playing his guitar and listening to music by artists Hank Williams Jr., Neil Young and Leonard Skynyrd to name a few. He never asked for too much from anyone and stood tall for who and what he believed in.

Surviving is his son Avery (Grace), brother Philip (Pam) and sister Marion (David) Humphrey, all of Sydney, his nieces Amy, Rebecca, Sarah and nephew Justin.

Brian endured many health issues over the years. Special thank you to the staff in the Renal Dialysis Unit, North Sydney and CB Regional Hospital and the ICU staff at CB Regional.

Cremation has taken place. Donations may be made to the Kidney or Heart and Stroke Foundations of Canada.
